four posts?

i only intended to do one post, this one, but i got carried away, and thought it would be more fun to split it up. i mean, i havent been near an internet connection in two weeks. thus, im a little overwhelmed and dont really know where to start. ill start with, "i posted new pictures on my pictures site" see link at the side. not many, but a few. (maybe ill make the following like a list, a rounded 10...i must be terribly boring.)

1. nihongo. the language. its picking up. i still dont have any lessons whatsoever of anykindwhatsoever, but im still picking it up. im trying to acquire a new verb everyday, and try and conjugate it. ie. kaimas. kohi no kaimashta. i bought a coffee.
or mimas. geisha no mitai! i want to see a geisha. or hanashimas. nihongo no hanashitai. i want to speak japanese. or ikimas. kyoto ga ikimasho! lets go to kyoto.

2. homesickness. for the last week or so i have been somewhat glum (on the inside), just a bit homesick, etc. basically i just needed to talk to my mum on the telephone, which i did, and i feel much much better.

3. money money money. i got paid, but this also contributed to my glumness. but, it seems that im not going to kyoto anymore. which is fine, so i might do a weekend in tokyo? im not too sure. its just that im making so much money and owe much more, so i cant really spent it. but im paying out my $800cdn/month in debt-bills, and living okay. but i should definitely stop making international calls on my cell. my bill was $160!!!

4. books. i read "widow for one year" by john irving. and "memoirs of a geisha" by arthur golden. im going to start "alias grace" by the atwood, tonight.

5. package. received goods from canada. they made me tremendously happy. strawberry shortcake bubblebath, scarf/toque set from my mumma, chocolate, sarah deleeuw's book, pants! i feel like a spoiled brat!

6. sento/onsen. did my first sento visit. ive never felt so comfortable so fast with being naked in a room with a bunch of people. women only. and a rosemary herb bath. wonderful!

7. have been spending time with friends. its nice. and making others. which is also nice. eiko and i are going to sendai this month. to shop. yeah! and naho wants me to learn japanese as much as she wants to learn english.

8. works been going well. i think im getting better at my job, thought im trying to be modest about it. i have one class that goes terrible. but that's b/c it has a rambunctious (spelled wrong, i know, sorry) three year old in it.

9. i'm shrinking.

10. my back hurts.
